About AE Design Studio
Architecture
Architecture
rooted in place.
We design homes and spaces that enhance the way people live, combining architectural creativity with practical expertise.
From extensions and renovations to new homes, we take a considered, collaborative approach.
Explore our work- 01
Feasibility Studies and Measured Surveys
Exact measurements of the existing plot, elevations and floor plans, and an honest appraisal of what planning policy, site constraints and budget allow before formal design begins.
- 02
Concept and Spatial Design
We get to know how you live and what you want, then turn that brief into sketch schemes and tangible options, with practical considerations such as structure and services built in from the start.
- 03
Extensions
Rear, side and two-storey extensions, orangeries and loft rooms, designed to sit naturally with the existing building, including listed buildings and homes in conservation areas.
- 04
Renovations
Reimagining existing space to unlock its potential, from reconfiguration to whole-house refurbishment.
- 05
Planning and Technical Design
Developed design and Design and Access Statements, planning and listed building applications, then Building Regulations drawings and detailed specifications for accurate tendering.
- 06
New Bespoke Homes
Individual houses from feasibility through planning, technical design and contract administration on site.
Our approach
Ideas, detail
Ideas, detail
and a deeper
understanding.
We take the time to understand your needs, your home and its setting. Through sketching, modelling and careful detailing, we create designs that feel timeless, practical and personal, balancing aesthetics, functionality and the character of each place.
